Don’t let foot problems ruin your summer holiday.

Some tips to keep your feet helfy (healthy)

  • Check them daily for cuts, sores, swelling, and infected toenails.
  • Give them a good cleaning in warm water, but avoid soaking them because that may dry them out.
  • Moisturize them every day with lotion
  • Don’t put moisturizer between your toes. You want to keep the skin there dry to prevent fungal infections.
  • Avoid wearing tight-fitting shoes. Your shoes shouldn’t hurt your feet.
  • If you are going to be wearing jandals, make sure they are Podiatrist approved. Skip the flip-flops and flats.
  • Rotate your shoes so you’re not wearing the same pair every day.
  • If you have difficulty cutting your nails, seek professional help.
  • Use a  pumice stone to remove any hard skin that has formed.
  • Wash your feet and dry your feet daily. Make sure to clean and dry between your toes.
  • Wear jandals in public showers, gyms, and pool areas.
